For the second time in less than a week, the New York Knicks (25-36) and Philadelphia 76ers (37-23) will square off. This matchup will be at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, with Wednesday’s tip-off at 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Knicks vs. 76ers odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.
The Knicks were striggling before the All Star break and have lost the two games coming out of a break, falling to the Heat by 15 points and to the Sixers by 16. They’ve now lost nine of their last 10 games and covered the spread just once in that span. Though their defense has been solid (8th in NBA in points allowed at 107), they’re the third-worst shooting team in the league with a field goal percentage of 43.4%.
The Sixers are trending in the opposite direction, winning their last two games by a total of 47 points – including that 16-point win over the Knicks on Sunday. G James Harden scored 27 and 29 points in his first two games with Philadelphia, already meshing well with his new team. The 76ers have won five of their last six games and are 4-1 ATS in their last five.

It was just three days ago that the 76ers blew out the Knicks 125-109. It’s hard not to love the 76ers in this one again and the Knicks aren’t likely to pull off the upset on the road, but the money line really doesn’t offer much value.

Against the spread
Despite the lopsided score last time these teams met, the game was close until the fourth quarter when Philadelphia outscored New York 34-20 to pull away. The Knicks’ 18 turnovers really killed them, but they were in the game until the final 12 minutes. They outrebounded the Sixers 47-43, which led to 20 second-chance points.
If C Mitchell Robinson can stay out of foul trouble after fouling out Sunday, the Knicks could keep C Joel Embiid in check. Furthermore, the Knicks are 7-5 ATS on the road against teams above .500, per Covers. I like the KNICKS +10.5 (-112).
Over/Under
In each of their Sixers’ and Knicks’ four games this season, the total has gone Over. That includes the Feb. 27 meeting where the final score totaled 234 total points. I could see this game finishing with a similar score and going OVER 222.5 (-1125.
