Season series: Warriors lead 1-0 after beating the Knicks in their building 110-99 on Feb. 29

The Knicks have won 3 straight after a 98-91 dethroning of the Sacramento Kings Saturday. G Jalen Brunson dropped 42 points as he went over the 40-point plateau for the 2nd straight game. The Knicks are in 4th place in the East and sit 2 games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for 3rd.

The Warriors got back in the win column Saturday thanks to the return of G Stephen Curry, who had 31 points in a 128-121 road win against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Warriors had lost 3 of 4 as Curry was out with an ankle ailment.

Knicks at Warriors and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 111, Knicks 98

Moneyline

The Knicks’ defense has been legit, allowing just 83.2 PPG over the last 5 games. The Warriors will figure that out, though, having dropped 110+ in 8 of 10 games – and several were without Curry.

You can’t take the Warriors at -225, though. One prop that sticks out to me is DONTE DIVINCENZO UNDER 16.5 POINTS (-130). He hasn’t gone for 17 points in 5 straight games and is shooting the 3-ball at just 31.7% this month.

Against the spread

The Dubs are 6-4 ATS over their last 10, and all of those victories cleared this margin. They’ll do it again, though the Warriors’ 17-17 home record is a little worrisome.

Take the WARRIORS -5.5 (-110).

Over/Under

The Warriors are 3-7 O/U over their last 10, and the Knicks are 1-9. When matched up against one another, the Over is 5-5 in the last 10 showdowns. The Knicks are dead-last in the league with a 94.9 pace. That will help the UNDER 211.5 (-110) clear.
