The Mavs have won 5 straight and the Knicks are just 14-19 on the road. Nonetheless, I’d still stay away from Dallas -420. While the Knicks have been playing better as of late, their +320 isn’t worth a longshot wager.

Against the spread
LEAN to the MAVERICKS -8.5 (-105).
The Knicks are just 1-6 ATS this calendar year when underdogs by 7 or more points.
While the Knicks did beat Dallas by 23 earlier in the season, New York shot 22% better than the Mavs and won the turnover battle and rebounding battle.
Assuming the two teams return to their mean, the Mavs should have a better chance at covering. Also, the Knicks are just 29-36 ATS this season while the Mavs are a far better 36-28-1.
Lastly, the Mavs hold opponents to the 8th-worst three-point field goal rate. The Knicks shoot the 11th-highest rate from distance. That battle that favors the Mavs should be huge for Dallas’ ability to cover.
