New York Jets vs. Tennessee Titans injury report: Thursday

A.J. Brown, Julio Jones and Bud Dupree were absent again on Thursday.

The Tennessee Titans and New York Jets have released their respective injury reports on the Thursday before the Week 4 matchup at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Among the most notable players not practicing for the Titans for a second straight day on Thursday were wide receivers A.J. Brown and Julio Jones, and outside linebacker Bud Dupree.

Punter Brett Kern, who first popped up on the injury report on Wednesday, is said to be “day to day,” according to special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman. He did not practice on Thursday after getting in a limited session on Wednesday.

The Titans have since signed punter Johnny Townsend to the active roster, which could be a sign that Kern won’t play on Sunday. We’ll know more about all of the aforementioned players’ statuses when Tennessee releases its final injury report on Friday.
