New Orleans Saints share photos of snowbound practice facility

The New Orleans Saints and fans around Louisiana shared photos of the rare snowstorm delivering heavy snow for the first time in recent memory:


The state of Louisiana and the southeastern United States in general are typically not known for their snowfall, nevermind getting significant amounts of it. However on Tuesday, Jan. 21, that was most certainly a notation that was turned on its head, as New Orleans received eight inches of snow before noon according to Louis Armstrong International Airport, and in some areas near a foot of snow.

This is completely unprecedented, however, for many it was a day of fun and enjoyment as they had the chance to go outside and enjoy the snowfall, as it was the first significant appearance of snow in Louisiana since 2021. The state also issued its first-ever blizzard warnings, with many roads eventually being closed due to the occurrence.
