Moneyline
The Buccaneers (-190) are just a little too expensive for my liking on the money line, costing nearly 2 times your potential return.
Plus, this is a team coming off a loss against the hapless Cleveland Browns. Couple that with the fact the last time these teams played at the RayJay, New Orleans came away with a 9-0 win in a prime-time matchup, and that equals no sale for me.
AVOID.
Against the spread
Take the BUCCANEERS -3.5 (-106), but play it lightly.
The offense for the Saints +3.5 (-114) is a disaster right now, and New Orleans was blanked last weekend in San Francisco. The Bucs do not have quite as strong of a defense as the 49ers, but Tampa’s D is still pretty decent. The Saints should struggle to score again in Week 13.
Over/Under
UNDER 40.5 (-107) is the play in this AFC South showdown.
These are 2 teams with very good defenses, and subpar offenses lately. We’ll get another defensive slog between these teams.
