Saints at Lions: Odds, betting lines, picks and prediction
Prediction
Saints 35, Lions 30
Money line (?)
The Saints enter the game favored and have lost two in a row, allowing more than 30 points in each game. The Lions are coming off a win. With Thomas’ return at receiver for New Orleans, its offense should look more like it has in the past, but its defense will struggle to defend the Lions passing game. However, Detroit’s defense is not good and, unless it gets three takeaways like in Arizona, the Lions have little chance to slow the Saints. Take the SAINTS -213.
New to sports betting? Every $213 wagered on the Saints to win outright will return a profit of $100 if they prevail.
Against the Spread (?)
Both teams are 1-2 ATS so far this season. With Thomas’ return to the Saints lineup, they should be able to put up points. Four points isn’t giving up much, so with a late score, they will cover the spread. Take the SAINTS -4 (-110).
Over/Under (?)
New Orleans’ games have gone Over in all three games. Detroit’s have hit the Over in two of three. These are two talented quarterbacks with all their offensive weapons, while both defenses have struggled. This is a lock. Take the OVER 54.5 (-110).
