The NBA released the three All-NBA teams on Wednesday afternoon with very few surprises. Los Angeles’ LeBron James and Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo were unanimous First Team selections while Anthony Davis of the Lakers, Luka Doncic of the Mavericks and James Harden of the Rockets rounded out the rest of the team.
Brandon Ingram of the Pelicans was not named to one of the teams but did earn three votes across the three teams. One voter gave Ingram a Second Team vote while two voters gave him a Third Team vote, totaling five points.
Ingram’s breakout season did include an All-Star selection as well as the Most Improved Player award. He was one of only four forwards to receive votes without making one of the teams, joining Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton, Paul George of the Clippers and Chicago’s Zach Lavine.
No other Pelican received votes for any All-NBA teams this season.
