While the 2024 recruiting class is currently on the clock, programs are getting an early jump on the 2025 class, as well.
Michigan football is looking way, way ahead, even putting out offers for 2026. That’s not particularly new for Jim Harbaugh and his staff, given that he had offered 2023 Detroit (Mich.) King quarterback Dante Moore in 2018 — which was before he had yet to even set foot on his high school campus. Now Michigan is looking at a player who comes from a state and location that isn’t necessarily heavily recruited, instead of in its backyard.
2026 Buffalo (N.Y.) Sweet Home Senior cornerback Demari Clemons is reporting on Twitter that he’s received a Michigan offer.
To God be the glory,After a Great conversation with @Coach_SMoore .I'm more than thankful to receive an offer from the University of Michigan!!! @UMichFootball @CoachJim4UM #GoBlue @coachclink @Coach_Minter @BrianDohn247 @RivalsFriedman @MohrRecruiting pic.twitter.com/nADYoyqM3P

Listed at 5-foot-10, 155-pounds on 247Sports, Clemons was considered a ‘phenomenon’ in eighth grade according to the local newspaper. He’s considered an athlete, so while he can play corner, he certainly can play other positions.
As a 2026 prospect, he’s not yet ranked by any services. He currently has offers from Penn State, Michigan State, Syracuse, and Pitt.
