[autotag]Matt McMahon[/autotag] and the LSU Tigers shocked the college basketball world as LSU picked up their second commit of the 2024 recruiting class in [autotag]Curtis Givens III[/autotag].
Givens is a 6-foot-3, 180-pound, four-star point guard from Memphis, Tennessee, who is ranked as the No. 4 point guard in the nation by On3. Going into his commitment today, Givens had received four Crystal Ball projections to Memphis and the Memphis Tigers a 93% favorite to land him per On3.
It would make sense for a kid from Memphis to want to stay home and play for Penny Hardaway and the Tigers, but Matt McMahon swooped in and swept him off of his feet. Givens became the second commit of the 2024 recruiting class for the LSU Tigers. The class now ranks as the No. 17 class in the country with two four-star players.
The job on the recruiting trail is not finished though as McMahon looks to land more talented players in the 2024 class.
