New ‘Hard Knocks’ trailer will get you excited for next week’s premiere

“Hard Knocks” premieres on Aug. 11 at 10 p.m. ET.

The regular season may be more than a month away, but the Rams will be on TV beginning next week – even if not in a true football capacity. “Hard Knocks: Los Angeles” premieres a week from Tuesday, with the first episode airing on Aug. 11 at 10 p.m. ET.

Leading up to the new season of the hit show, HBO released a new one-minute trailer to get fans excited for the Rams-Chargers series. Although it doesn’t show any new footage from what’s taken place this year, it does feature clips of players in practice, as well as coaches Sean McVay and Anthony Lynn.

The Rams and Chargers have some history together beyond just playing in the same city. They’ve practiced against each other in each of the last three years, and in both 2017 and 2018, fights broke out on the field.

It’s unfortunate that they won’t be practicing against each other this year on “Hard Knocks” – the NFL is banning joint practices due to the pandemic, but there will still be plenty of excitement this season on the show.
