New Hampshire rumored to move into the 2025 NASCAR playoffs

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is rumored to move into the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs after a successful USA TODAY 301.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway put on a show last weekend. On Sunday, Christopher Bell won the USA TODAY 301 following a two-hour rain delay. NASCAR finished the Cup Series race with Wet Weather Tires for the first time since they were introduced. New Hampshire will always have a spot on the NASCAR schedule; however, it could have more importance next year.

According to The Athletic’s Jordan Bianchi on “The Teardown,” New Hampshire is expected to move into the 2025 NASCAR playoffs. This would be a massive move for Loudon, which used to host a playoff race until 2017. The 1.058-mile track has been mainly dominated by Ford and Toyota, as Chevrolet has one win in the last 18 races since 2012.

It would be a welcomed change by Bell, who swept the weekend in the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series in 2024. New Hampshire has been very exciting with the NextGen car and a playoff date would be a perfect outcome. It would be a blast from the past but one that many drivers and fans would support as talent is put on display by the competitors.
