The former member of the Alabama Crimson Tide will be sidelined indefinitely as he seeks and undergoes treatment.
Barmore was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft and has been a key contributor to the team’s defense. However, his focus will now shift to his health.
The team’s statement shared thar Barmore was diagnosed with blood clots and that he was treated by the doctors at Mass General Brigham. The statement also details that there is no present timetable for Barmore’s return as he continues to undergo treatment.
