A day after announcing their initial 53-man roster, the New England Patriots announced their initial 2023 practice squad on Wednesday.
Aside from one new addition, the squad is full of players that were previously cut by the team. NFL teams are allowed to carry 16 players on their practice squad.
The Patriots clearly aren’t finished making moves with there only being 15 players on this list. There are also a few players that could be promoted to the main roster as early as the team’s Week 1 meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles in the regular season opener on Sept. 10.
