Change has been the norm during Deion Sanders’ short tenure as head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. Now, it seems Coach Prime will bring his style to CU’s on-field fashion game.
Some eagle-eyed social media users have noticed a preview of things to come uniform-wise. In a recent Instagram post by Sanders, you can see an all-white uniform with gold numbers and trim lying on the floor of his office. Instantly, my mind went to the throwback “BUFFS” basketball jerseys that have been worn by the men’s team in recent seasons.
Fox’s Erin Andrews then alluded to a new CU uniform later in the evening during the network’s coverage of the Saints-Texans preseason game. Andrews reported Sanders is promising a new all-white uniform for the Buffs’ season opener with “gold like people have never seen before.”
