New Cardinals TE Zach Ertz will not play vs. Browns

After playing Thursday night for the Eagles, he is ineligible to play Sunday. Je will play in Week 7 against the Houston Texans.

The Arizona Cardinals have a new tight end on the roster with the acquisition of Zach Ertz, whom they acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles, of course, played in Week 6 on Thursday night, losing 28-22 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He had four catches for 29 yards and a touchdown Thursday night.

Since the Cardinals play this weekend, could Ertz suit up twice and play for them?

The answer is no.

He is unable to play this weekend, as he already played a game in Week 6.

That means the earliest he can take the field for the Cardinals is next week in Week 7, when the Cardinals host the Houston Texans.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Friday that Ertz would definitely play against the Texans.

Get ready for some fun!
