Cornerback Jeff Gladney, signed by the Arizona Cardinals this offseason to a two-year contract, has died. The 25-year-old former first-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings, was killed in a car accident Monday.
Gladney’s agent, Brian Overstreet, confirmed the news of his death to the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram.
The first news of his death came from former TCU teammate Jalen Reagor.

The accident happened in the Dallas area overnight.
The Cardinals released a statement in reaction to the news.
We are devastated to learn of Jeff Gladney’s passing. Our hearts go out to his family, friends and all who are mourning this tremendous loss.
