The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added yet another big name to their already star-studded offense Wednesday, signing seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones to a one-year deal.
After dominating the Bucs for a decade as a member of the division-rival Atlanta Falcons, and spending last season with the Tennessee Titans, Jones joins a Tampa Bay squad hoping to make another Super Bowl run in 2022.
One of the most dominant pass-catchers in NFL history, Jones has been slowed by injuries in recent years, which led to his departure from both the Falcons and Titans over the past two seasons.
Speaking to the media Wednesday at training camp, Jones said he’s “100 percent healthy” as he prepares to contribute to Tampa Bay’s efforts to win a championship this season (via The Athletic’s Greg Auman):

Jones is still chasing his first Super Bowl ring, and now he’ll get to catch passes from Tom Brady in pursuit of that title. If he can stay healthy, Jones could give the Bucs another dynamic threat behind a pair of fellow Pro Bowlers in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
