The Nevada Wolf Pack return to action as they travel to North Carolina to take on the Davidson Wildcats of the Atlantic 10 Conference.The contest between the Wolf Pack and the Wildcats will be on Tuesday night with tip-off of 5pm Pacific Standard Time.
The Wolf Pack return to action after a loss at home against the USC Trojans on Saturday night. Despite a wonderful performance by Wolf Pack guard Jazz Johnson (26 points). the Wolf Pack could not handle USC’s front court players as Nevada fell by a score of 76-66 to the Trojans.
The Wolf Pack now head east to face off against a Davidson team coming off a 87-49 victory over UNC Wilmington last Saturday. Davidson’s victory over UNC-Wilmington was the Wildcats first win of the 2019-2020 season as they have suffered losses against Auburn and UNC-Charlotte. Davidson is looking to extend their winning streak to two games as they host the Wolf Pack on Tuesday night.
Davidson has a balanced scoring attack as they have five players who are averaging at least 10 points per game. Junior guard Carter Collins leads the Wildcats in the scoring category as he is averaging 15.5 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the field. Another player to keep an eye on for Davidson is guard Luke Frampton. Frampton, from Poca, West Virginia, is averaging 11.8 points per game and is shooting almost 53 percent from the three-point line.
Davidson is looking to use their balanced scoring attack to improve their record to 2-2. Can the Wolf Pack bounce back from a loss to secure a road victory as they start their 10 day road trip on Tuesday night.
