Chris Webber put it best on the TNT broadcast of Brooklyn’s 125-99 blowout win over Golden State on Tuesday: the Warriors ran into a buzzsaw. The game may have officially been out of reach by the second quarter, but it was clear in the first quarter the Nets were in complete control against Kevin Durant’s old team.
Four Nets players finished in double-figures — Durant, Kyrie Irving, Caris LeVert and Joe Harris — and Spencer Dinwiddie finished just shy with nine points, though he also had five rebounds and four assists.
DeAndre Jordan led the Nets with 11 rebounds, and LeVert finished second with nine, nearly logging a double-double. Jordan’s 11 boards came in only 17 minutes of work, while Jarrett Allen grabbed seven in 20 minutes.
