Nets vs. Lakers: Lineups, injury reports and broadcast info for Thursday

Kyrie Irving is expected to be able to square off against his old Cleveland Cavaliers teammates in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Close to a year ago, Spencer Dinwiddie hit a game-winner at Staples Center to help the Brooklyn Nets knock off the Los Angeles Lakers. The Nets are finally back in LA for a meeting with Dinwiddie’s childhood team, but with a much different roster than last year’s — and Dinwiddie (ACL surgery) will be among those unavailable for Thursday’s game.

After missing Tuesday’s wild win in Phoenix, Kyrie Irving (back) is probable on Thursday, but Kevin Durant (hamstring) remains sidelined. The Lakers will be without one of their stars, too. Anthony Davis is out for the next few weeks with a calf strain.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot is also questionable for Brooklyn with right knee soreness. In addition to Durant and Dinwiddie, Iman Shumpert (left hamstring strain) and Nicolas Claxton (right knee tendinopathy) remain unavailable.
