Nets vs. Hawks: 3 things we learned from Brooklyn’s loss to Atlanta

The Brooklyn Nets could not work through their shooting woes from beyond the arc against the Atlanta Hawks.

Nets fans may want to move on from Brooklyn’s ugly 114-96 loss to the Atlanta Hawks, but it’s a night Steve Nash and company can learn from. While the Hawks didn’t score nearly as much as they did on Wednesday, the Nets could not get their high-powered offense to replicate the performance that was put on in Wednesday’s 145-141 win.

Caris LeVert logged his first single-digit scoring game of the 2020-21 season, and both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving could not find their rhythm from long range — though, Brooklyn’s stars were not alone in that struggle.
