The NBA’s 75th season will finally tip off as the Brooklyn Nets take on the reigning champions, the Milwaukee Bucks, in the season opener.
With the Bucks celebrating their championship win last season, a ring ceremony is set to take place before this matchup as well. Brooklyn, the team Milwaukee eliminated in the Eastern Conference Semifinals in last year’s playoffs, will be there to witness it in person.
Unfortunately for the Nets, their season will begin with Kyrie Irving out of action indefinitely. Nevertheless, with Kevin Durant fresh off of his third gold medal with Team USA this summer and former League MVP James Harden, there is no need to panic.
