Nets unable to pull off back-to-back upsets, lose to Celtics

A day after they knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks, the Brooklyn Nets were blown out by the Boston Celtics.

A day after pulling off the biggest upset the NBA has seen since the 90’s, the Brooklyn Nets could not contain the Eastern Conference’s third-seeded Boston Celtics. Brooklyn is now 2-2 in the Disney bubble after the Celtics blew them out of the building on Wednesday, 149-115.

The Celtics set a season-high for points in a game in the win. It’s the first time the Celtics have scored over 141 points since 1992.

Six members of the Nets finished in double figures.

Jeremiah Martin eclipsed the 10-point mark for the first time in his NBA career, finishing with a team-high 20 points in the loss.

After taking Tuesday’s game off, Joe Harris scored 14 points, Caris LeVert had 13 and Jarrett Allen finished with 11. Allen finished two rebounds shy of a double-double.

Dzanan Musa (13 points) also finished in double figures, as did Donta’ Hall (11).

The Nets get back to work on Friday at 5 p.m. against the Sacramento Kings.
