Nets to hold virtual town hall with Steve Nash on Tuesday

Steve Nash is set to make his first public appearance since the Brooklyn Nets reportedly agreed to a coaching deal with Amar’e Stoudemire.

Some Nets fans may get the chance to hear Ian Eagle call a football game every Sunday, but it’s been a little while since they heard him talk about Brooklyn basketball.

Well, on Tuesday, Eagle will be back to talking Nets basketball, as the team hosts a virtual town hall with none other than Brooklyn’s new head coach, Steve Nash.

Nets fans will be able to watch the conversation live over on the team’s Facebook page at noon.

This event will be Nash’s first public appearance since the franchise reportedly agreed to a deal with Amar’e Stoudemire. Nash’s former Pheonix Suns teammate is set to join his staff as an assistant coach who will focus on player development.

According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, the event will also be available on YES Network.
