Joel Embiid’s absence was noticeable on Sunday. So much so that the Brooklyn Nets were able to knock off the Philadelphia 76ers 109-89 — the lowest point total the Nets have surrendered in the 2019-20 season.
Sunday’s win marked the third time Brooklyn didn’t allow its opponent to score 100 points in a game this year. It’s also the first time the Nets didn’t surrender at least 90 points in a game in 2019-20
DeAndre Jordan came off the bench for the Nets and logged his fifth double-double of 2019-20, scoring 13 points on 6-for-9 shooting (1-for-3 at the free-throw line) while grabbing 11 rebounds.
Per usual, Jordan had his share of highlight-reel dunks. He almost had the best dunk of the night, too. Keyword: almost.

Surprisingly, Spencer Dinwiddie was the one who threw down the hardest in Brooklyn’s win. The point guard took flight in the third quarter and posterized Tobias Harris:

The slam was good for two of Dinwiddie’s 24 points on Sunday. He finished 9-for-21 from the floor (2-for-4 from three) while logging six assists.
Joe Harris and Garrett Temple bounced back with their long-range shooting after their struggles in Saturday’s loss. Harris scored 16 on 7-for-11 shooting (2-for-4 from three). Temple went 4-for-6 from the field (3-for-4 long-range) and finished with 13 points.
