Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie and center Nic Claxton go into the 2023-24 season with important roles in helping the Nets get back to the postseason for the sixth consecutive year. With Ben Simmons now healthy and looking like himself, Dinwiddie and Claxton will have more help to achieve the team-wide goal of getting into the playoffs.
With that being said, Dinwiddie and Claxton will have to do their part if Brooklyn is going to beat the odds. Right now, most betting markets have the Nets winning anywhere between 35 and 40 games which would most likely put Brooklyn in the play-in tournament.
There are people on both sides of the conversation with some saying that Brooklyn will be better than expected and vice versa.
