The Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets have a few big connections on both sides as they prepare for this first round playoff series. The Sixers and the Nets made a big deadline trade in 2022 when they sent Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, and Andre Drummond to the Nets for James Harden.
Heading into this series, Drummond is now with the Bulls and Simmons is out with a back injury, but both Curry and Harden are available for this matchup.
As Curry gets set to help the Nets battle his former Sixers team, he is ready to play in the playoff atmosphere of Philadelphia. He experienced how it can be at the Wells Fargo Center in the 2021 playoffs and he is looking forward to playing as an opponent.
Seth Curry on going back to Philadelphia for tomorrow’s playoff opener: “Yeah, always good to go back and play there; hostile environment, especially for the playoffs. So one of the best playoff environments; great fans. Should be good competition.” #nets #76ers
