With the 2023 NBA Draft less than two weeks away, teams like the Brooklyn Nets have some important decisions to make on what to do with their draft picks. At the same time, the Nets have to also worry about free-agency since the process starts at the end of this month.
With regards to free-agency, Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report said in a recent article that Nets guard Seth Curry is one of the best values in the 2023 class of free-agents. Swartz’s criteria for the piece was only considering players that would most likely sign for $12.2 million (non-taxpayer mid-level exception) or less.
Curry has come up a lot in articles talking about various aspects of free-agency given his ability to score and shoot the basketball while coming at a cheap cost most of the time. Curry, 32, is an unrestricted free-agent and while he could go to any team, it appears that Brooklyn would try to do what it can to keep Curry with the Nets as long as his asking price is reasonable.
