NEW YORK — Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton had one of his best offensive games in Friday’s 118-100 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. He had 19 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the field and had 5 assists while being a big part of the Nets keeping the Bucks at bay all game.
“We’re coming for everybody, man”, Claxton said during his on-court interview after the final buzzer. “We’ve had a lot of disappointment over this season, these past few seasons, but you know, things are rolling. We just gotta keep it going.”
There were a few times in this game that Claxton got the ball and shot a post hook over his defender (usually Giannis Antetokounmpo) instead of finding someone to pass to. It was impressive to see Claxton play this way since he’s usually not much of a scorer within the Nets’ offense.
Friday was a different night for Claxton and it shows that he has put in the work to become a better player. Brooklyn’s next game is Monday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
