Nets news: Blake Griffin is expected to make his debut Sunday

Blake Griffin is expected to make his debut on Sunday against the Washington Wizards

The long awaited debut of Blake Griffin is finally here. The Brooklyn Nets announced Saturday afternoon that the 32-year-old veteran is now upgraded as probable instead of out.

Griffin has not played in over a month since he and his former team, the Detroit Pistons, came to a mutual agreement that sidelined the former All-Star. Steve Nash wanted to make sure that upon returning on the court for an official game that he would not rush his debut.

In the past weeks, Blake Griffin has been working out with Kevin Durant and getting in sessions at practice during scrimmages. It was only a matter of time that the six-time All-Star would finally debut for Brooklyn and now that time is here.
