Brooklyn Nets guard Mikal Bridges has made quite a name for himself ever since he came to Brooklyn as a result of the Kevin Durant trade to the Phoenix Suns. It seems that what Bridges has done in his short time with the Nets has made him a popular player around the league.
Bridges was suggested as a trade target of the Memphis Grizzlies in a recent article by Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report. As Buckley points out in his piece, if the Grizzlies feel that they are still in need of a two-way wing, Memphis trading for Bridges may be one way to address that problem.
While this is merely a suggestion by Buckley and not necessarily an indication of the Grizzlies interest in Bridges, there were reports that came out during this past season that Memphis had some interest in the former Villanova Wildcat. However, if this offseason has proven anything, it’s that Brooklyn is not quick to trade Bridges anytime soon.
