While the Brooklyn Nets return home on Mondy night looking to shake off a bad loss to the Washington Wizards and an injury to Kyrie Irving, there was some good news on their front.
After some speculation that maybe he would not head back to All-Star weekend and defend his 3-point shootout championship, Joe Harris will, in fact, be heading to Chicago and attempt to win it for the second straight season.
There were some who thought that Harris would take the weekend off. He has been playing a lot of basketball recently with trips to China with both the Nets and the US Olympic team, but he told YES Network’s Michael Grady that he will participate in the contest.
Just talked with Joe Harris, who confirmed that he WILL indeed defend his 3-point crown All Star Weekend in Chicago.

Harris was in a slump there for a big after starting the season shooting 41.1% from deep in November and then 42.5% from deep in December, he slumped to shooting just 31.5% from deep in January. There was concern that maybe he had some tired legs and he needed to relax a little bit.
In the meantime, the Nets will get ready to host the Phoenix Suns at 7:30 p.m. EST from the Barclays Center. [lawrence-related id=6545,6532,6523]
