The Brooklyn Nets will be down yet another key player as they get set to head down to Orlando and resume the 2019-20 season. After already missing Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Wilson Chandler, DeAndre Jordan, and others, they will now be missing one of their main point offensive weapons.
After being diagnosed with COVID-19, the Nets team doctors have decided to hold Spencer Dinwiddie out of the Orlando restart as the team wants to remain cautious and focus on safety. The Nets guard then went to Twitter to put out a message that he is going to be supporting the team every step in the way after he received a second positive test.
After another positive test yesterday and considering the symptoms, @BrooklynNets, team doctors and I have decided that it would be in the best interest for me and the team that I do not play in Orlando. I will be supporting the guys every step of the way! #AudienceOfOne

The Nets get back to work on July 31 against the Orlando Magic down at Disney World where they will be looking to continue their push for the playoffs. One of the teams chasing them–the Washington Wizards–just found out that they will be missing star guard Bradley Beal. So that makes the playoff push a bit easier for the Brooklyn.
