Few players had a better run in the Las Vegas Summer League than Cameron Thomas and the Brooklyn Nets draftee finished his stay in Sin City as the leading scorer among all players.
Thomas averaged 27 points, two assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals in four games with the Nets. He produced two 30-point games on the week, and his 36 points scored on Sunday were the most by a player in any game from Las Vegas this year.
The 27th overall pick even drained the game-winning shot in a sudden death, double-overtime victory against the Washington Wizards on Aug. 12. He finished the contest with 31 points for his first 30-point performance of summer league.

Thomas called himself the best scorer in the draft this year and he certainly proved that in summer league. He seemingly got to his spots on the court with ease and proved to be unstoppable at times given his ability to score in a variety of ways.
The addition of Thomas to the Nets figures to give the team an instant boost of offense off the bench. He will have the opportunity to earn playing time next season and his selection could go down as one of the best ones considering where the Nets got him.
