Brooklyn Nets forward Cam Johnson, like Team USA, have had a disappointing summer since they were unable to win a medal in the 2023 FIBA World Cup. However, now that the tournament is in the rearview mirror, we can look forward to what expectations for the 2023-24 season look like for Johnson.
In a recent article by Bleacher Report in which they ranked the players that they believe will be in the top 100 by the end of next season. In what should be good news for Nets fans, Johnson was ranked as the 67th-best player in the NBA by the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
Johnson, 27, has given people in the NBA space plenty of reasons to believe in him this strongly that he’ll be a top-70 player in the league. In 25 games with Brooklyn last season, Johnson averaged 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 46.8% from the field and 37.2% from beyond the three-point line.
