Nets’ Cam Johnson discusses meaning of playing for Team USA

According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Brooklyn Nets forward Cam Johnson is embracing the opportunity to play for Team USA.

Team USA is looking to bring home the gold when they play in the 2023 FIBA World Cup at the end of August as the squad wants to win its sixth FIBA World Cup Title. Brooklyn Nets forward Cam Johnson will be one of the talented players that will be giving his all to represent the United States.

Johnson, 27, has had a pretty good past six months or so as he was selected to be part of the National Team as well as received a lucrative contract from the Nets to be with the team for years to come. With that being said, as told by Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Johnson is relishing the opportunity to play in the FIBA World Cup.

Johnson is one of the more engaging players in the NBA with the way that he’s ready to talk as soon as he’s asked a question and seems to be having fun with interviews as well. In essence, Johnson told Lewis that he believes that playing for Team USA is a great opportunity and that he will learn valuable lessons from the experience.
