Team USA is looking to bring home the gold when they play in the 2023 FIBA World Cup at the end of August as the squad wants to win its sixth FIBA World Cup Title. Brooklyn Nets forward Cam Johnson will be one of the talented players that will be giving his all to represent the United States.
Johnson, 27, has had a pretty good past six months or so as he was selected to be part of the National Team as well as received a lucrative contract from the Nets to be with the team for years to come. With that being said, as told by Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Johnson is relishing the opportunity to play in the FIBA World Cup.
Johnson is one of the more engaging players in the NBA with the way that he’s ready to talk as soon as he’s asked a question and seems to be having fun with interviews as well. In essence, Johnson told Lewis that he believes that playing for Team USA is a great opportunity and that he will learn valuable lessons from the experience.

#Nets wing Cam Johnson on being on Team USA: “It means a lot, man. This is such a cool opportunity. I think it’s such a great learning experience to play alongside great talent, under great leadership. It’s an opportunity I’m gonna do my best to take advantage of.” #FIBAWC
