Ben Simmons has been ruled out for Saturday’s game vs. the New York Knicks.

Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons has been ruled out for Saturdays’ game against the New York Knicks according to the team. Simmons was ruled out due to left knee soreness. Simmons left Thursday’s 130-122 loss to the Detroit Pistons with 6:40 left in the third quarter and did not return because of that troublesome knee.

This will be the 12th game that Simmons has missed this season. Simmons has been out of the lineup because of a variety of injuries related to his back and knee. He is averaging 7.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6.4 assists while shooting 56.6% from the field.

Nets forward TJ Warren was also ruled out due left shin soreness. Since Warren came back from rehabbing his foot, he has missed only one game and that was when head coach Jacque Vaughn rested Warren and most of the players in the usual rotation. Warren is averaging 9.3 points while shooting 50% from the field and 33.3% from three-point line.
