The Nebraska Cornhuskers will host a class of 2026 offensive linemen this weekend. Deacon Schmitt will visit the Lincoln campus on July 27.
Schmitt is a 6-foot-5, 290 offensive tackle from Windsor High School in Windsor, CO. He will take a visit to Oklahoma two days prior to his visit with the Cornhuskers.
The prospect earned a scholarship offer from Nebraska after performing well in a Husker-run football camp in Lincoln last month. Offensive line coach Donovan Raiola extended the offer.
Nebraska currently does not hold any commitments to the class of 2026. However, a flurry of recent offers has taken place as the 2025 cycle winds down, heading into the 2024 college football season.
Blessed to have received an offer to play football at The University of Nebraska!
