The 2023 college football season will be one of celebration for Nebraska football. This season will see Memorial Stadium, home of the Cornhuskers, celebrate its 100th Anniversary.
The facility broke ground on April 26, 1923, with its first game on October 13, 1923. The stadium has also seen expansions in 1964, 1965, 1966, 1972, 1998, 2006, and 2013.
Nebraska has also sold out 389 consecutive games at Memorial Stadium. The streak began on November 3, 1962, with a 16-7 Nebraska win over Missouri.
For the 100th Anniversary, fans can participate in the celebration. Fans can purchase the Through These Gates Mini Plan, a three-game ticket package.
The ticket plan includes a ticket to non-conference games against Northern Illinois, Louisiana Tech, and one of the five Big Ten home games while supplies last.
