Nebraska Football four-star target will visit for Colorado game

Nebraska football will host 2026 four-star quarterback Michael Clayton for the Colorado game.

2026 four-star quarterback Michael Clayton will visit Nebraska football next month when the Huskers take on Colorado. Rivals.com’s Tim Verghese reported the news of the visit.

Clayton has visited Nebraska before, doing so in June. He was given an offer during the visit.

Last season he was the starting quarterback for Sanford Seminoles. Clayton went 120-of-224 through the air, throwing for 1,902 yards, 18 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

The quarterback also holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Miami, and Ole Miss, in addition to Nebraska. He holds 26 offers in total.

Nebraska currently has no commitments in the 2026 class. TJ Lateef headlines the 2025 recruiting class at the quarterback position, while Dylan Raiola, Daniel Kaelin, and Heinrich Haarberg hold down the fort on the current roster.

The Huskers have offered several quarterbacks in the 2026 class, including four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth, who is the highest-rated of the group.

Nebraska has made an effort to address the quarterback position with ample talent already in the fold. This will be another interesting subplot and what is sure to be an exciting game against the Buffaloes.
