Nebraska Countdown to Kickoff: No. 61 Dylan Parrott

Only 61 days remain until the beginning of Nebraska’s 2024 season.

It is July 1 meaning not only will the Big Ten welcome four new programs to the fold on Monday but also that there is only 61 days remaining until the beginning of Nebraska’s 2024 season against the UTEP Miners.

In the player spotlight with just 61 days remaining is walk-on offensive lineman Dylan Parrott.

The Eldridge, Iowa native and former North Scott High School standout chose to walk-on with the Huskers as part of their 2022 recruiting class. Through his first two seasons with the Huskers, he has seen the field just three times, all coming last season as a rotational piece for offensive line coach Donovan Raiola.

In 2024, Parrott will remain a rotational piece, likely seeing the field when circumstances allow or on special teams. On top of being an important piece of the Huskers’ walk-on program, Parrott has also earned Academic All-Big Ten Honors, a spot on Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, and was a member of both the Brook Berringer Citizenship Team and the Tom Osborne Citizenship team.
