Prior to the loss, Michigan was riding a 3-game winning streak, which included taking down Indiana 80-62 in Bloomington. Michigan is 7-11 against the spread (ATS) this year.
As for the Cornhuskers, they’re 11-10 ATS, yet are 0-5 straight up on the road. Nebraska has lost eight straight games, all against conference opponents. However, it has covered 6 of those 8.
Nebraska is coming off a 63-61 home loss to Rutgers Saturday, but it was a third consecutive cover for the ‘Huskers, who were 3-point underdogs.

They average 72.3 points per game (PPG) and allow 78.0 PPG. Led by 6-foot-7 G Bryce McGowens (16.7 PPG), the Cornhuskers should be able to give a lacking Michigan defense problems.
The Wolverines average 72.3 PPG and allow 67.6 PPG. Their inability to cover as favorites, just 1-3 ATS in their last 4, is concerning. Michigan is just 3-5 ATS as a home favorite.
