The 2022 baseball season began Feb. 18.
Regular-season play concluded May 21 ahead of the Southeastern Conference Tournament.
Tennessee (53-7) won the SEC regular season and tournament championship. The Vols have been ranked No. 1 nationally in the USA TODAY Sports baseball coaches poll since March 28.
Tennessee is the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and will host the Knoxville Regional at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Alabama State, Campbell and Georgia Tech will also play in the Knoxville Regional. The Vols will play Alabama State on Friday.
NCAA regionals are scheduled to begin June 3. NCAA super regionals will begin June 9.
The 2022 College World Series will take place June 17-27 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
