INDIANAPOLIS – NCAA spring sports came to an end prematurely in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Collegiate sports this fall have been in question to be played amid the pandemic.

Ahead of when sports do return, the NCAA has since outlined core principles of resocialization of collegiate sport.

In a press release, the NCAA outlined three phases of resocialization.

Each phase addresses aspects of daily life and that are appropriate due to COVID-19.

The core principles outlined in the NCAA’s release offer a premise for resuming practice and competition at the collegiate level, while consistent with federal guidelines.
