The NCAA college basketball season is set to start in late November, which means a multitude of new health and safety guidelines will need to be enforced to ensure the student-athletes and faculty all remain safe during the season. The NCAA released those guidelines on Friday, which you can see in their entirety here.

The guidelines include new updates on testing procedures, travel considerations, and access to the court and bench areas.

“This basketball resocialization guidance is based on the best information available in a rapidly changing COVID-19 environment.” said NCAA President Mark Emmert. “It is predicated on the assumption that rapid testing capabilities will be readily available later this year. We will constantly assess emerging information as we prepare for the start of the basketball season at the end of November.”
