It’s game day in South Philadelphia! Well, sort of.
As the NBA is in suspension due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the league on hold until likely June, fans of all teams are looking for ways to get their basketball fix.
For fans of the Philadelphia 76ers, they have just found a way to do so. Legendary NBC Sports Philadelphia play-by-play man Marc Zumoff tweeted out some exciting news for both Sixers fans and Boston Celtics fans in the area. The network will replay the season opener between the two teams from October 23 on Monday night to get some type of basketball out there.
We have @sixers basketball tonight! 7pm @NBCSPhilly v Boston. A replay of this year's season opener. Join us!

The Sixers did win the matchup 107-93 as part of their 5-0 start and it gave Sixers fans hope for a great season. What has transpired since has obviously been a lot of drama and debate about whether Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Al Horford can play together, but on that opening night in October, it was a lot of fun.
The game can be seen at 7:00 p.m. EST. [lawrence-related id=27670,27656,27646]
