In addition to some missed shots and the great play of Jimmy Butler, the Los Angeles Lakers believed that they were shorted on some calls in the final minutes of the game. However, the majority of the calls that they complained about were deemed correct calls upon review from NBA officials.

The one call that was deemed incorrect that went against the Lakers was a late non-call with Jimmy Butler on LeBron James. The last-two-minute report said that Butler should have been called for a foul for making contact on a LeBron driving lay-up attempt with just over a minute left.

Butler (MIA) extends his right arm forward and makes contact to the side of James’ (LAL) head that affects his driving shot attempt.

Two calls that Frank Vogel complained about following Game 5 were deemed correct calls by the NBA’s review, two foul calls involving Butler against Markieff Morris, and another against Anthony Davis.
