NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors missing chance to sweep Nuggets with loss in Game 4

After the Warriors missed the chance to sweep the Nuggets in game four, NBA Twitter weighed in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Sunday.

It’s time to put the brooms away. There will be no sweep in the Golden State Warriors’ first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets.

Following an early explosion from the Nuggets, the Warriors stormed back into the contest behind Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Despite foul trouble, Thompson tallied 32 points with seven triples in 31 minutes. Curry added 33 points on 10-of-23 shooting from the field with eight assists, including several clutch buckets down the stretch.

However, the Warriors couldn’t overcome key mistakes during game four. The combination of a quiet performance from Jordan Poole, an uncharacteristic four missed free throws from Curry and Draymond Green fouling out with two minutes remaining hurt the Warriors’ chances.

A final blow came on an errant inbound pass from Otto Porter Jr. to Andrew Wiggins that turned into a turnover with under a minute remaining and the Warriors trailing by two points.

Following the Nuggets’ 126-121 win in game four, the series will turn back to the Bay Area on Wednesday night for game five. After the Nuggets’ series-saving win, the NBA community on Twitter chimed in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Twitter on Sunday.
