The Philadelphia 76ers failed to reach the 100-point mark for the first time since February, but thanks to a clutch performance from Tyrese Maxey and a near 20-20 game from Joel Embiid, the Sixers took a 2-0 series advantage over the Nets in a 96-84 win.
With his college coach John Calipari in attendance, Maxey scored 33 points to lead all scorers, and Embiid finished with 20 points and 19 rebounds.
The Sixers trailed at the half, but allowed just 14 points in the third quarter to regain control of the game at home.
